Grand Master Yang Mei-Jun

Grandmaster Yang was born in Shanghai. Since three, she begun to live with her Grandfather (the 26th generation inheritor of Kunlun Dayan Qigong) in Beijing and had been stayed in different provinces. Her Grandfather begun to teach her Dayan Qigong when she was 13 years old. She was instructed to benefit mankind with the exercise. Following are the key events of GrandMaster Yang.

1978

At her 70s, Grandmaster Yang materialized her promise of “benefit mankind” by starting Qigong healing and teaching in Beijing.

1979

begun to teach in national organization, such as the Chinese Science Institution etc.

1980

 conducted qigong healing, seminar, demonstration and training for the Army. Departments.Received the “Outstanding Qigong Master” awards from the Beijing Qigong Research Organization.

1982

Established and headed the Dayan Qigong Headquarters in Beijing. Appointed as a consultant by the Beijing Chinese Medical Qigong Association.

1984

Jointly worked with the Bureau of National Sports to launch pilot qigong courses for qigong instructor training.

1985

Visited by the American President in Beijing.

1986

Appointed as Honorable Committee Member by the Chinese Qigong Science Research Association.

1988

Visited the Chinese Dayan Qigong Association (HK) and become the Permanent Honorable President of the Association.

Appointed as Honorable Committee Member and Head of Consultancy Party by the Chinese Qigong Science Research Centre.

1993

Received Award of National Outstanding Qigong Master from the Bureau of Chinese Sports & Qigong.

1994

Received Award of Outstanding Qigong Master by the Beijing Qigong Research Association.

1995

Appointed as Honorable Committee Member by the Chinese Qigong Research Association.

1996

Her thesis of 《Knowledge of Qigong effect on human》was well recognized in the first North China Qigong Scholar Conference.

1997

Dayan Qigong official selected as the Chinese Sports & health Ancient Methodology.

Appointed as the Consultant of Beijing Qigong Research Association.

1998

 the Bureau of National Sports evaluated Dayan Qigong as the Health Vitalizing Exercise, and issued certificate to encourage for dissimulation.

1999

entered《Famous person of the world》

2000

Bequeathed her Dayan Qigong Headquarter in Beijing to her latest close disciple Mr. Wang Taili.

2002

23th July passed away at 105.
